Modern Gourmet Foods specializes in food and beverage retail gifts. Designers hand off concepts for Sales and Production to create mockups. Sometimes limitations of physical products require some finesse of layouts to achieve the desired look and feel. A great example is the Love Potion here. The concept artist had a smaller footprint for the dieline, and visualized a more square layout. Ultimately the mockups give the desired impact, that carries over into mass production as seen in a local JoAnn’s Fabric.
